Responsible Technology Use Policy

Sky Guard Security ApS is committed to the responsible development, distribution and deployment of UAV technology and security systems. We recognise that the technologies we distribute carry significant potential for both beneficial and harmful applications, and we take our responsibility seriously. This policy outlines our principles, guidelines and expectations for the ethical and responsible use of our products and services by all customers, partners and end-users.

Our approach to responsible technology use is guided by the following core principles: • Human oversight: All autonomous and semi-autonomous systems should operate under meaningful human control and oversight. We advocate for human-in-the-loop decision-making for all critical operations. • Proportionality: Technology deployment should be proportionate to the legitimate aim being pursued. We encourage customers to use the minimum level of capability necessary to achieve their operational objectives. • Transparency: We support transparency in how surveillance and monitoring technologies are used, within the boundaries of legitimate security requirements. • Accountability: Operators and deploying organisations should maintain clear lines of accountability and documented procedures for technology use. • Non-discrimination: Our technologies should not be used in ways that unlawfully discriminate against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.

Sky Guard Security products are designed and intended for lawful applications, including: • Inspection and maintenance of critical infrastructure • Perimeter security and facility protection • Search and rescue operations • Disaster response and damage assessment • Environmental monitoring • Border security conducted by authorised government agencies • Law enforcement operations conducted in accordance with applicable law • Monitoring of industrial facilities and security compliance Customers are expected to operate our products in compliance with all applicable local, national and EU regulations, including aviation rules, privacy laws and data protection requirements.

Sky Guard Security expressly prohibits the use of its products for: • Any activity that violates applicable law or international humanitarian law • Unlawful surveillance or monitoring of individuals • Activities intended to cause harm to civilians or non-combatants • Suppression of lawful protest, freedom of expression or other fundamental rights • Activities that violate international sanctions or export control regulations • Weaponisation or modification for offensive military purposes without proper government authorisation • Any use inconsistent with the stated end-use declared at the time of purchase Violation of these prohibitions may result in termination of support agreements, invalidation of warranty, and notification to relevant authorities.

All UAV and surveillance systems distributed by Sky Guard Security are designed with privacy and data protection in mind. We recommend and support: • Data minimisation: Collect only the data necessary for the stated operational purpose • Purpose limitation: Use collected data only for the purpose for which it was collected • Retention limitation: Establish retention schedules and delete data when no longer needed • Security measures: Implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect collected data • Impact assessments: Conduct DPIAs (Data Protection Impact Assessments) before deploying surveillance technologies in public areas Our systems support on-premise data processing to give customers full control over sensitive data.

Sky Guard Security offers comprehensive training programmes to ensure operators understand both the technical capabilities and the ethical responsibilities associated with our technologies. Training covers: • Safe and compliant operating procedures • Privacy and data protection best practices • Regulatory requirements and airspace management • Incident response and reporting procedures • Ethical decision-making frameworks We encourage all customers to invest in ongoing training and to establish internal policies for technology deployment.
